Palais des expositions,
Parc Chanot Marseillep

18th – 20th of October, 2024

Parc Chanot Marseille

Will be presented: painting, visual arts, such as video art, improvisational performance, in situ installations, photographs, sculpture, documentary screenings, graffiti.

A boat repair shop will be set up to host the group exhibition of visual arts Tidal Flow for three days from Friday 14 to Sunday 16 October 2016, in a 4,000m2 space, artists and spectators will work together so that the experience of direct contact renews the relationship of visitors with art.

The choice of an unconventional space for a presentation of works of contemporary art allows us to spontaneously approach the works without the awe that a museum hall evokes.

The participating artists are recognized artists, as well as young, inspired creators who will demonstrate with their works that Athens can play an important role in the global scene of Contemporary Art.

They are the following: Angelos Antonopoulos, Artemis Alkalai, Amalia Antoniadou, Anthi Zakhou, Yannis Ziogas, Menelaos Karagiannis, Penelope Kouvara, Georgia Lale, Dimitra Liakoura, Manolis Merambeliotis, Christos Bligiannos, Periklis Pravitas, Mary Roussioti, Elias Sipsas, Diana Spyridou, Vangelis Hatzis, etc.

The aim of the exhibition is also to make the creative process readable and visible to the general public. To offer a view of the continuous interaction between reflection and action.
People can’t encounter art in specific places anymore. Art has to come closer to the viewer.
